It is almost here...

I'm off of work, the weekend is here, and Sunday is the day I leave. My bags are packed and my passport is ready. I have been anticipating this day for a long time and I am beyond excited that it is here. My plan is to use this blog to stay in contact with you all (plus I was told explicitly I had to or else... it was scary, I cried). So for my sake be sure to post a comment and/or send me an e-mail to kathryn.c.holden@gmail.com.

I also just have to give a very heartfelt "thank you" to everyone who has been so supportive of me. I am very blessed to have so many wonderful people who are a part of my life and I am so excited to share this journey with all of you! So stay tuned...

SHUT UP!!!! Oh my gosh I miss you so much and now you're going to be halfway around the world??!!?? Well seeing your beautiful face here is more than I've done in, um, like, a year, so I guess that's good! ;) I cannot wait to read it as a travelblog, and I especially can't wait to see what the Lord will do with you and thru you. All all all my love,
shan

I can't believe you're leaving already! Yikes! I will be lurking frequently at your blog to read all about your time in Africa.

Love you!

Hey Shannon! first thanks for the advice! I will stay on top of it... and second... I miss you too! Thank you for all your love and right back at you!

Nate... thanks! Don't worry, you can live vicariously through me :).

Jessie. Sorry man, but I am taking my lucky eye lash curler but feel free to go to town on my lucky toe nail clippers...

and finally my dear friend Amy... please do lurk! I love lurkers... well except if you are a creepy guy with a mullet and driving a van with tinted windows then thats just scary.
